Writing can be fun. It can be hard. Or, on the rare occasion, it can come pouring out like a broken dam in the middle of a monsoon.

But, if it’s mind bendingly difficult or this is the greatest high you’ve ever known. You could always learn more. Hone the craft like a true Japanese katana.

“On Writing” ┬áby Stephen King – There is no better book about the craft. Every writer recommends it. It’s one part autobiography, one part “how to”. A MUST.

Rebel Without a Crew by Robert Rodriguez – This diary of Robert Rodriguez takes him from want to be filmmaker to winner of Sundance. It’s seriously motivating. Especially for anyone wanting to “make it” in Hollyweird.
