The Hobbit is an extremely easy read compared to the Lord of the Rings. It’s actually startling the transition from Hobbit to Rings is.

Count of Monte Cristo is still one of the best pieces of classic literature I’ve ever read.

I’ll lend you my copy of War and Peace if you wish to tackle it. I’ve started it four or five times and couldn’t get passed the first 7 pages. All Russian names and I kept forgetting who was who.
