ahhh… a little C.S. in the morning never did anyone any harm. And since it’s still far too early in the morning, why not right? Anyway, I found this fun.

Haven’t really posted a religous topic in a long while, but thought this was interesting. Regardless of what you think about the “Christian” religion, the one undisputable fact is that the majority of western civilization was based on it. Paintings, art, words, law etc.
I found in college that I had a leg up on most of my humanities/history classes just because I had a basic handle on the Bible. It’s interesting to see people take a historical approach to the bible for public consumption, which I’m glad for. Any Bible is good for you as far as I’m concerned (obviously if you don’t know that I’m a freakin Jesus Freaker you don’t know me well enough…that was for full disclosure)

If you’re a father, you’re probably looking forward to receiving another “interesting” tie, a pair of wild boxer shorts, or the latest golf accessory for Father’s Day this year. And then — if your kids get really creative — they may just have a surprise waiting for you that makes you feel like a king. I encourage you to soak it all in, because you deserve it, and it’s good for your children to learn to honor you. But don’t forget to also give honor to your own father.

Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action. - Benjamin Disraeli:

A very bizarre thing happened last night. I got emotional. Now, before you get your hopes up like “Oh yeah, that bottled up mass of soon-go-homicidal Jeremy is getting in touch with his feelings”….nothing so mundane I’m afraid. No…last night some vegetables and “snoodles” were teaching me the value of self worth.
