We’re entering the busy summer air travel season, which means the airports will be swarming with millions of vacation travelers, all of them ahead of you in the security line, many of them with the intelligence of an avocado.

I have to tell you guys how absolutely hurt I am. I’m so depressed and sad at this moment you would not believe. Aaarrrghhh. The movie that I worked on (going on 2 years ago) is evidently having a Premiere tonight. Something I didn’t hear about till last night. Something that evidently I wasn’t invited to. Well, not by the studio anyways.
Damian (the guy who directed it) called me just now to make sure that I was going. The problem is that my boss had already given me these baseball tickets, and I’ve promised to take some people to the game ( they are die hard fans, and I can’t back out). I just feel betrayed AGAIN. I worked on this film from pre to post.
I didn’t do much though, just made jokes and sat around. I feel so annoyed at RKO.
This sucks. I’m a schlub.
Is this the venue to air my personal grievances? maybe, maybe not. AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaah!

So says the poll.
Hey guys, it’s the good ole Jerm.
These last couple off months have been amazingly frantic. I’ve been sick, gotten better, playing obscene amounts of catch phrase, writing, going out to dinner and hanging with family - all and all this year has started out beautifully.
Last night I went to the Karate class I’ve been attending. I feel like I was pushed back several grades. I have to hang with the white belts, which of course I am, but I feel like a superbeing next to them (oh the ego…no I just have had previous training that is coming back to me amazingly fast), and I know it makes them feel self conscious, as well as making me hold back a bit, when what I really want to do is punch them in their novice heads (grin).
On the political front, I’m not really worrying about it until we get near next year and the elections that will ensue. Things that bother me though are the denizens of San Francisco that like to overlook state law and do what they want. Yes I’m talking about Gay marriage. I don’t want to get into it too much, I’m sure all of you know that I feel that Marriage should be left for a Man and Woman…not man and man…woman and woman…dog and man…cat and horse (Skedoozy has pointed out that this sounds like I’m comparing a gay person to a horse or a cat or whatever, that wasn’t my intention. My intention was to make that point that a Man and a Womans marriage has more value then other types of unions - why do I believe it, because I think it’s a necessity for civilization and healthy families. I wish I could quote it to you verbatim, but I have read study after study, or heard people talk about study after study in which a male/female home provides far more stability then another configuration)…I think there needs to be guidelines in society - yes I’m a prude and square. But that’s why you love me right?
I’m a bit tired of politics, entertainment the whole shebang! I’d rather watch some good genre television and be in bed by 11. I’m getting old I realize it - this scares me. I think Death scares me to some degree. It’s not that I do believe in an after life…I think it’s the whole inevitability of the thing, the transition from this to “hey Jesus”.
That leads me to the Passion. I’m curious about this movie, but I have to tell you that I have this gigantic chip of skepticism about the film - mainly because everyone that I know that is Christian is basically giving it a thumbs up before seeing it. I hate hype…it takes away from an objective viewing. The previews look powerful to me, and I imagine I’ll be a blithering idiot by the end - who knows. But I don’t like the hype….I just want to see it with out the preconceptions. I mean I remember seeing Schindlers list and thinking it was nothing special, this of course was after a few years and people telling me the life changing aspects of the film. I wasn’t “life changed”. I’m rambling on…excuse me.
So I’m on the verge of some really cool things lately - not all I’ll reveal now but some I’ll disclose later.
SHADE - the movie I worked on a couple of years ago is supposedly coming out in limited release next month…March 25th I hear. Am I excited? Yes…I have a .2 sec appearance which has me all a giddy - plus the DVD will be out in stores in labor day. Now note to those that might be offended…the movie is replete with colorful adjectives, and brief nudity.
Alright that’s all for now…I think
