9-11 Flags at Pepperdine
by Jeremy on Sep.14, 2010, under Blog, Politics, Story Time
Pepperdine has started a tradition of placing flags for everyone that died during 9-11, including flags of the people who died from other countries. Princess Hotcakes and I just walked the length of it during lunch..pretty overwhelming.

10/26/10 Blog Entry: Waiting for the shoe to drop

My thoughts as of late.
Somewhere in my thirty some odd years upon this planet earth I became afraid.
I can’t pinpoint exactly where that happened, but I know it did. Growing up my friends and I would engage in feats of lunacy, that to this day when described to others gets a eye roll of disbelief.
As a toddler it was as simple as making bows and arrows, shooting them at friends, escalating to jumping our lined up friends with our BMX bikes, to molotov cocktails, trying to cow tip with a car, rappelling of the stadium in college and an assortment other things.
Then I moved to L.A.. I don’t know if it was the climate, the sheer alieness of being who I was in a town that was completely NOT who I am. Rejection, rejection and more rejection. I don’t know. But I started being afraid.

But you don’t have strength to leave

Today is a good day. How to make it better

I woke up with a text from Johnny to tell him what I thought of the choice, he used the word “risky”. Crap I thought, that means he went for lieberman, which honestly, would have been disastorous.
