Started watching the “Wire”. It’s serious, high minded, kind of infuriating because I get the sense that it’s more true to life than the normal “cop” type fare that comes on the tube. Slow to start, I’ve heard it only gets better, we shall see…we shall see!!! (more…)

So Reaper is coming back next year - Yipeee!!!
Pavarti won Survivor - booo! I wanted Amanda to win that thing (P.S. - did I mention that I found out one of my friends dated the now millionaire?)
Smallville is crazy. I have no clue where they are going, nor where they will be at the end of the season finale on Sunday.
Same with Gossip Girl (which btw is the reason I’m almost late to work today). That show is BIIIIZOOONNKKKERRRSSS…in a good way.

Beauty and the Geek is one of those “this can’t be good” shows that really IS good. I don’t mean good like “Oh this is entertaining (which it is)” I mean good in the moral sense of the word. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s basically a reality version of most 80’s John Hughes movies. It’s the Breakfast club without the pesky jocks or stoners. It’s 16 candles but Anthony Michael Hall being stuck in a room with Molly Ringwald for the duration, It’s Pretty in Pink as it’s supposed to be (with Ducky winning the girl)… (more…)

One of the things I love about my family is that we seem to have the most vivid of dreams. I often giggle while reading my brothers recounting of his dreams because I too have dreams in such vivid and adventurous detail that it’s no wonder that I love to go to sleep, it’s like stepping into my own virtual reality film.
