The Other Side of the Tracks… sort of… but not really

Before I receive another piece of hate mail about not having written on MOONLIGHT in the last few weeks, I need to lay out what’s been going on. I’ve been working on a show…
A couple months ago I found myself discouraged about my job (mortgage business… can you imagine why?). My friendly neighborhood Spacekicker recommended that I find my creative side again. I apparently had left it behind in a small country town called LA. Knowing that Spacekicker always thinks he’s right, and really I had no other options before me, I decided to give it a whirl. I began to write The Other Side of the Tracks weekly installments. I also got on Craigslist.com and looked in my local area for production shoots to work on. I thought it would be fun and distract me from numbers, interest rates and the collapse of the financial American Dream.
I found two postings looking for an editor and decided I’d give them a ring. The individual I reached was an entrepreneur by the name of Rob. He is the owner and blogger at businesspundit.com. It is apparently a big business blog site. That’s what I’m told. Top 3000 blogger in the world. I’m told that’s big. Anyway…
Rob explained to me they were wanting to create a daily video of ideas, how to’s and general information. Frankly, it could have been about cat turds and I would have done it just to get out of the office and have fun. I met with Rob and his business partner Todd. We hit it off and started scripting how this little show was going to go.
Two months have now passed and I’m the director and editor of dailyidea.tv. We have seven shows in the can and have our soft launch this morning. After being in LA two weeks ago and editing non-stop for the last week, I have not had time to write about Eddie and David. I wish I did. I know where the story is going, there are just not enough hours in the day. So for now, please forgive me and enjoy the show. I hope to return to them soon.
It’s a soft launch today so the site is still under construction, but it is ready to accept viewers, suggestions and opinions. Please take the time to sign up for the email or RSS on the site. We are showing the show to investors in NY in the next couple weeks and would LOVE to have great numbers to show them. Thanks!
Thanks to Spacekicker for his encouragement and Skedoozy for the incredible background in the show.

Congratulations! that is so exciting! I was in the title industry so I actually understand completely. (I’m out of there now as well….doing something that is more my ‘dream’ of sorts)
Good luck in your new (except not really new) endeavor! I will stop by the website!
