Now I know why I never update 6-2-09

It’s because I didn’t have a job. At least that’s what I’m going to say. I was experiencing the doldrums that come from having too much time and a comfortable bed nearby. Most likely you’ll get your fill of naps and have nothing done…ever.
So today I have gone full circle from when I first moved to L.A. - I’m back at the Paramount lot.
I hope…I HOPE, that this will not be the last time I’m here (It is the best lot in town. I’m just convinced of it. The manhole covers sport the RKO logo from back in the day, tiny bungalows and zippy carts. It’s a throwback lot, looking very much like it might of 50 years ago.)
My prayer is that when I get back from my honeymoon there will be a job waiting for me. And if not, heck it’s nice that they seem to have enough confidence in me that they are putting me up for assignments.
Amy had said to me “do you think that you should stick around?”.
I wasn’t sure what she meant. Maybe stick around…after work, to work more?
But what she meant was that maybe we should forgo our Honeymoon in order for me to get this job.
*sigh*
This is one of the reasons that I Love this woman. She is Selfless. She makes me take a good hard look at myself and wonder when the last time that I was selfless.
The most important event “The Wedding” followed by an equally important event the Honeymoon, and she wants me to miss it for a job.
HELLLLLZZZZ NO!!!
I wouldn’t miss this time for the world. But I do find myself in awe at the woman I’m about to marry. She is amazing.
