Today is a good day. How to make it better

I woke up with a text from Johnny to tell him what I thought of the choice, he used the word “risky”. Crap I thought, that means he went for lieberman, which honestly, would have been disastorous.

I waited til I got in the car and heard “Alaska govenor” and I went bonkers. She was my pick. I thought it was the best way to go and this is why.

1) She’s a woman. Say what you want, but as a strategic move you have to play on the fact that Hillary’s supporters (some of them) are amazingly disgruntle. Picking a woman is perfect to exploit that.

2) She’s a govenor, former mayor, city council member, and Pta member - see that. She’s someone that has worked her way up, rather quickly to office in a way I doubt most have. She got into it hacking away at corruption and she knows local politics, and real life issues in a way that neither ticket knows. Not to mention that she has executive experience in a state that borders two countries…that’s huge.

3) She’s attractive - she is….no seriously.

4) She was told that she should abort her last child when it was known that he was going to be down syndrome. She said no, and when she saw the baby she said that he was “perfect”. *heart ping*

5) Say that McCain kicks it, she becomes prez. You’ll hear alot of people yell she’s not ready, ironically if that happens she’ll be in the exact position that Barack is in now. She’ll be the one that’s inexperienced and will pick a VP that fills in the gaps she’s lacking. The difference that is going to be shown is that she is on the bottom of the ticket and inexperienced versus the inexperience on the top of the ticket where Obama resides.

6) This is what we in the Party wanted. We wanted someone that can be raised up. To put a new face on the party. The party that is about people, regardless of sex or color unified in the mission to make government smaller.

Then when I was grinning ear to ear I did the next best thing. I drank some Red Bull.

Then I listened to the new AC/DC song.

Now I’m ready to hit Hippies.
