It started yesterday. Had some really good God moments. Felt like the Holy spirit was really just ….resting on me I guess. I woke up in the morning and happened upon a video that a friend from Facebook at posted from Hillsong.
Impactful, a great way to start the day.
I moved through the day like I normally do, the usual eat food, drink redbull, play skedoozy at Scrabble with the occasional dabbling in work.
I re visited this story that I had seen (thanks Kristina) on Jason Upton and the singing Angel.
This of course prompted me to hit IMeem with a Jason Uplist playlist and just listen.
It’s pretty cool to just bask in God, or worship music. It, for me, can change my countenance from one of hopelessness to hopefulness.
Once you are in that groove you don’t want to get out. It’s like playing in the ocean when it’s just the right temperature, you never want to leave.
I also revisited this conversion story that near the end always sends chills up my spine.
After work I was “being still…” and it felt great.
I met up with the boys for Bible study and smiled alot at the varying antics of us all, then fell into that deep place of asking, challenging and dwelling on the study that we are going through. We are all so different in this group ( I can’t believe I’ve been there for about 2 years) and just bring so much to the table as far as our understanding of God without ego or pretense.
It was good. It IS good.
