Los Angeles Zoo

If you’ve gone to the San Diego Zoo then all other Zoo’s (at least the ones that I’ve gone to) seem dumb. They seem dumb and plain, the L.A. Zoo is no exception. Small cages where animals sleep against concrete backdrops painted like the Serengeti, or multiple displays of the same animal (aka Sea Lion) that you can see anytime you go to the Marina.

But in our adventure, I decided it might be fun to take pictures of US (or those that wanted to) posing as the animals we were watching. See if you can guess the animal!

Alright enough of that. We were supposed to go camping this weekend but MR. Fanilow got sick (unfortunately)…so off to the zoo we tromped. It was fun to catch up and do something you don’t normally do. Besides the L.A. Zoo is actually pretty cheap. it’s 12 dollars to get in and free parking (I think I was more excited about the free parking bit than the actual zoo).

here are some more pics!

In college we used to get a kick out of that kind of stuff… I don’t think that I’ve gotten too old to continue, it’s just that pushing a stroller and calling for your preschooler to come away from “there” take up too much time and energy.
