Who watched Gossip Girl last night?

Oh come on, you can admit it to me, I won’t tell. I mean I am the guy who has seen every episode of Dawson’s creek, O.C., Charmed, Buffy, Angel, Felicity, Gilmore Girls and on and on and on.

Josh Scwartz is the executive producer of Gossip Girl, recognize that name? You should! He was also the creator of the O.C, and the Young Avengers comic book and my new favorite show CHUCK on NBC. So it should be no surprise that Gossip Girl is a delightfully, well written and tawdry show about far too rich for their own good kids and the obligatory poor kids that are trying to make sense of the rich world and/or trying to become like the rich people.

The life of privilege is almost always depicted as something less than pristine with your usual stories of drugs, maybe births, and fathers turned gay.

It’s all very fascinating, well written and Serena’s hair (Blake Lively) is pretty much the most amazing entity I’ve seen on T.V.

Anywhoo - last night if you watched, “G” was back in town (played by miss Dawn herself Michelle Trachtenberg) and she quickly proceeded to show her horns and tail as she tempted Serena back to a hidden past of debauchery. What is it that G has on S? I think it was a threesome that ended in death (I’m calling it now, we’ll find out next week).

Yes, scandalous I know!

But now Serena is pushing away the only thing that keeps her life in check at the moment, that is the gap toothed Alex Karev look alike Dan.

Meanwhile Dan is being seduced by G who passes herself off as …Sarah (I think). OH man, this is going to get bad quick, I . CANNOT. WAIT.

We briefly discussed GG last night before you watched.
Last night’s episode was intense!!! Also what was up with Chuck’s bright coats? I mean really?!?!? Little J annoys me…

Listen alot of the “fashion” on this show is crap lol. I am often left stunned the amount of sweater vest action going on.

I wish I had time to watch the debauchery unfold…no, really, I do!

Sorry, the name and previews totally turned me off in the beginning, so I never saw an episode. Plus, the only time I have time to watch debauchery is when the kids are in bed–then I’m usually teaching, cleaning or in bed too. :( We still haven’t watched the grown-up shows from last week.

You didn’t like Gossip Girl when it first came on. What changed your mind? The sweater vests? :o)

I didn’t??? I remember liking it, or at least mildly amused by it. But of the pilots I saw last year it was in the top 5 at least

Did you just lump in Buffy, Angel and GG with F’ing Dawsons Creek, Felicity THE FRAKIN O.C., and GOSSIP GIRL?

You can leave your badge on my desk. You’re suspended until further notice. Give me your gun too.
