I watched two shows tonight

One was the Apprentice the other was the Republican and Democratic debate. Both made me grind my teeth a little bit.

The Apprentice had me laughing as Gene Simmons (mastermind of KISS) turned his considerable talents as marketer extraordinaire onto the landscape of the game making everyone else look like b-list celebrity schlubs.

The debates were…interesting. On the Republican side Mitt Romney was the talking Pinata, and interestingly it was McCain that was doing most of the beating. Actually everyone took him to task, and really I can’t blame them. The guy comes across as the arrogant “know it all” that needs to be smacked down a little. My boy Thompson looked Presidential, above the fray. He strikes me as the “adult” of the group.

The Democratic debate was mind numbing. I know that I’m probably not a trusted source on that account so I’ll let others comment on the value of the thing. To me it was infuriatingly populist, socialist drivel that lacked any substance and was just a constant refrain of Hollow suit buzzwords like “change’ without anyone actually taking the time to describe what “change” would occur. Ugh.

Amarosa (or however you say/spell it) needs to GO!!! I suggested last night that perhaps all the political candidates on both sides should engage in an Apprentice- like show of their own. Instead of projects, they’d have to create/implement policy while working on a team with their party openents….the teams would be predetermined democrats and republicans….and the people would vote people off like on American Idol instead of Trump having the final word. And, any money raised or saved….would go to charity….or to paying down our national deficit, either way! I think it could really work:)

And Princess Hotcakes brings the presidential race into the 21st century!
You know, I do kinda wish that they were on some kind of “reality show” where we got to see behind the scenes. But of course that wouldn’t work, because the outcome would fall into the hands of the editor who could make anybody look bad or good. *sigh* I’m just so undecided!
