I had such great aspirations for things to put on the blog today, but

1) I’m tired

and

2) Do you really want me to blither on about how much I adore the show O.C.? Probably not…but if you do…

Yesterday I found myself on a big Yacht cruising the Newport Harbor with Tommy, El, JKam, M2, Shedaily and everyone else. The weather couldn’t have been better and aside from one minor skirmish with a children’s sailboat instructor (he yelled at me. He said “Do not mock the children”!), we had a deliriously good time. I’ll post some pics tomorrow.

Okay I probably neglected to explain what FAQ meant to everyone, because it seems that not everyone is as internet savvy as I am :)

FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions. Tomorrow I’ll have the list of the ones that have been submitted and YOU will add or tell me to subtract from that list. Then it’ll be finalized and Skedoozy will be forced to stick it up there…or show me how.

Some of you know, but how can you not know really, my obsessive love of teenage/CWesque type shows. Gilmore girls, Veronica Mars, I’m extremely sucked into the teenage angst angle.

That being said I am even more enamored with the O.C.

The tale of a inner city youth being adopted by the rich and strong of character Cohens.

Like every soap opera there are the star crossed lovers, the insane quarrels and the massive strange marital twists, but this show has the competency of a good writer and a well to do cast.

Fun, geeky and always entertaining I’ve been watching this show faithfully for several years…but last year.

Last year I almost gave up on it. It was dismal. Strange tangents and the corruption of the main love interest for our hero turned the season into an extremely hum drum fiasco.

Now, THIS year.

Well this year is another story. It seems as though the writers had heard the fan outcry and have come to their senses, including killing off one of the characters that made the show so maddening.

And now…now there is a love story that is cooking up that is positively wonderful, culminating in what could be one of the greatest onscreen kisses I’ve ever seen.

Yes, at this point you are questioning my sexuality. Don’t you jerkwads, I’m a romantic and I can’t help it.

Okay. Pick up the dvd’s, watch the first season and I defy you not be wrapped up in the drama like a cozy blanket next to a roaring fire in antarctica.

You and Josh are both so into teenage drama, I find it really funny (in an odd way) and also srtangely fascinating, that you two have so many little quirks in common.

Like fact that you watch this show, and don’t watch Heroes is beyond me…….I think I might have lost all faith in you, Kicker.

I used to enjoy watching/recording, depending on my schedule, the OC in the first season. The drama got to be a little too whacky in the second, but I still watched it until they switched to the new night. I just can’t give up Smallville & Supernatural… Just not a possibility…

Well there are always DVD’s. And I heard they are moving the time it airs anyways. They couldn’t compete with the other stuff on that night.
